Soothing
Day 13 of my “30 Paintings in 30 Days” challenge. I haven’t signed this one on the front yet because I can’t decide which way I like it best. I intended for the “stripes” to be vertical, but I like it either way! This mixed media piece is on an 8in x 8in wooden panel with 1.5in sides. It can stand on its own for display on a desk or shelf, or it can be hung on a wall. No need for framing! I used wool strips and burlap to create the small rug-hooking element and then used a collage technique to incorporate it into the acrylic painting.
