Hay and Sunsets

Inspired by the huge round hay bales drying in straw-colored fields in Vermont. Those hay bales were prominently featured in many photos from my childhood, with all of us posing in front or climbing on top of them.

Acrylic, burlap and wool on cradled birch panels with 7/8” painted edges. Each separate panel is 18in x 24in. Overall width is 56 inches if panels are hung 1 inch apart. Varnished and ready to hang.
