2020 Rages
I painted this just before the 2020 election, when COVID numbers in Connecticut were starting to rise again. It embodies 2020 for me. Stormy skies and tumultuous times. Anger and fear. Red and blue with very little purple in between. People hunkered down in their own separate little boxes, waiting until it’s safe to come out. Hoping for brighter days.
Acrylic, burlap and wool on 18in x 24in cradled birch panel with 7/8” painted edges. Wired and ready to hang.
