Welcome to the Family
I have always been a doodler and I am drawn to the tree motif because of my interest in genealogy and family trees. The idea for this tree started as a whimsical line drawing on watercolor paper (see other “Twists and Turns” listings). I loved it and wanted to blend the idea with my abstract painting style so I started painting it BIG. The tree is made with one continuous line that starts on one side of the trunk and ends on the other side. The continuous line represents the twists and turns of life and how you’re never quite sure what’s around the next corner. Life has its ups and downs, but taken as a whole, it’s a beautiful journey!
Acrylic paint on 40in x 40in canvas with heavy-duty wood supports. Free delivery within Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY. Please email me for shipping price to other locations (shipping noted in cart is just an estimate).
